
In the File name box, type the project name.Ĭlick the Save as type box and choose a file format. Under Choose a Folder, click a folder at the location. Under Choose a Location, choose Computer or a web location to save the file. Save a project to a different file format Click File > Info, and then click Map Fields. In the Site Address box, type the web address of the new SharePoint site.Īfter the first sync, you can choose which Project fields should map to which SharePoint columns. Type the name of the project in the Project Name box. On the right side of the screen, in the Sync With box, choose New SharePoint Site In the Tasks List box, type a name for a new list or choose one from the drop-down menu. Follow the instructions in the Export Wizard to export the data that you want into the proper fields of the destination file. In the File name box, type a name for the exported file.

In the Site Address box, type the web address of the SharePoint site or pick a location from the drop-down menu. (Not applicable in Project 2010.) In the Save As type box, select the file format that you want to export data to.

On the right side of the screen, in the Sync With box, choose Existing SharePoint Site. To troubleshoot other syncing issues, see Sync a project with a SharePoint site.Ĭlick File > Save As > Sync with SharePoint.

Note: Syncing won’t work if you’re connected to Project Web App.
